Halloween Hysteria 2021 was set to be the loudest party to cap off the spine-chilling season. Many of you may have been concerned if it was to go ahead, amid lingering border restrictions and lockdowns. Our answer is a resounding YES! Just not in 2021.

In consultation with our legendary bands, awesome venue crew, and our industry friends, we’ve made a collective decision to move Halloween Hysteria to 2nd April, 2022. 

And we ain’t foolin’!

You’ll still be able to see Aussie legends SPIDERBAIT, funk out with MAMMAL, don your ripped jeans for CLOWNS and snap your head along to KING PARROT. That, and over 30 other spook-tacular bands, in perfect weather with cold beer in hand and horns raised!

Hurrying up and waiting is the theme of 2020-2021—and it’s hit the music scene no differently. But rest assured, it’ll be worth the wait. It’ll still be a fantastic outdoor and open air-style festival over 3 stages, packed with so many bands, the rock force will hit you all at once!

We encourage you to #keepyourticket and all current tickets purchased (including VIPs) will remain valid for the April date. We understand some of you may want a refund and you can apply for a refund through OzTix (check your inbox) before Thursday 21st October 2021.

With all that said, keep this in mind: many bands on the bill haven’t logged a single minute of stage time since early 2020 (possibly before). They’ve been doing it incredibly tough—and this Festival is not only a way to get music into the ears of patient fans like you, but the first step on the road to recovery.

We sincerely hope you can all come down to Mansfield Tavern for the reanimated Halloween Hysteria III—we might even see two Halloween Hysterias in 2022! Halloween Hysteria Takes Manhattan? Halloween Hysteria: The Dream Master? We can definitely say it isn’t The Final Chapter …
