The news follows the release of lead single Animals, which dropped just days ago.

In a statement, Architects explained the album will examine the future of the planet, and the impact of human destruction. It’s a natural step forward for the band, who’ve continually championed causes like Sea Shepherd and sustainability, while also remaining outspoken on barbaric practices like fox hunting.

“This album was me looking at our inability to change to a way of life that would sustain the human race and save the planet,” says principal songwriter Dan Searle. “I wanted to look in the mirror and ask ourselves the question of what are we going to do, as opposed to trying to point the finger at politicians. Change has to start on a personal level. The world has developed a culture of wanting someone else to deal with it, when we need to take our own responsibility. It has to start there.”

For Those That Wish To Exist is self-produced and will feature 15 huge tracks. It follows on from Holy Hell (2018), which debuted at No.2 on the ARIA charts. The record focused on the loss of founding guitarist Tom Seattle and the pain and despair the band experienced as a result.

For Those That Wish To Exist will drop on 26th February via Epitaph.

Pre-orders are available now, including an Australian Exclusive Clear Blue Red Splatter LP. You can also stream Animals on all digital platforms.
