Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
Mansfield legends Violent Soho have partnered with their local junior rugby league club Easts Mt Gravatt to produce a limited edition jersey, with all profits going to the club.

The front will feature the iconic blazing skull logo, this time done up with rugby league headgear and a mouthguard. Longterm listeners of the band will be stoked with the reverse, which will feature the South Brisbane postcode, 4122.
For Soho, the collab was a way to give back to a community who’ve always supported them. And with the whole band being huge Rugby fans, supporting a local, grassroots effort was an absolute necessity. Since 1978, Easts Mt Gravatt JRLFC have called Allan Innes Field in Mansfield their home. The venue is just a stone’s throw away from Mansfield Tavern, where the foundations of Violent Soho were laid.
Eagle-eyed fans may have received the first hints of this project with the Pick It Up Again video-clip. Filmed around Mansfield, Wishart and Mt Gravatt, it included one of Easts Mt Gravatt’s families as well as Tidswell wearing a pair of the club’s playing shorts—how’s that for an Easter egg?
Speaking on the collab, Easts Mt Gravatt vice-president Daniel Giuffrida says the club was thrilled with the jersey, and the fact that all four band members had registered as club volunteers.
Violent Soho recently released their fifth studio album Everything is A-OK, taking out the number one spot on the ARIA charts despite the obvious hindrances to physical sales and live touring. You can stream or purchase the album now through all your standard outlets.
