PREMIERE: Among The Ruined // The Road


Brisbane based metalcore band Among The Ruined have just released their new single and music video The Road.

The Road is the first offering from their forthcoming album Common Creature. The album was completely self-produced and was mixed by Justin Aufdemkampe (Miss May I).

The single highlights the struggles of pursuing a career in the music industry as an artist and the desire to see your goals through to the very end. Among The Ruined create an uncompromising brand of music for that is both unique and versatile. They draw influence from the likes of Polaris, Motionless In White, Falling In Reverse and Bring Me The Horizon. The band formed in 2015 and now have multiple releases and shows under their belt, including performances with Deadlights and Awaken I Am.

Among The Ruined debuted to the world in 2018 with the release of their single Don’t Hesitate. The boys then followed up with the release of their debut album Despite All Odds. The album received praise from the likes of Hysteria Mag (scoring a 7/10 review),

GC Live, Blank Street Press, Scenezine, Scenestr, HEAVY Mag and many more. The band launched the album to a sold-out crown at The Brightside in Brisbane.
