The band will also play an encore of deep Machine Head cuts, including Imperium, Halo, Ten Ton Hammer, and The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears, among other career-spanning songs. The set will be played by the current line-up, which includes bassist Jared MacEachern along with guitarist Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka (Decapitated) and drummer Matt Alston (Devilment).

The total show will run for over three hours.

According to a statement, “Burn My Eyes was released in 1994 to critical and commercial acclaim. It was Roadrunner Records’ best-selling debut album until the release of Slipknot’s debut five years later. Kerrang! magazine gave the album 5 stars and described it as ‘one of the most ferocious and groove-laden behemoths the metal world has, and likely will ever see.’ Burn My Eyes has stood the test of time as a heavy metal masterpiece, its raw, aggressive attitude combined with ferocious guitar virtuosity and slamming heavy grooves is unparalleled in metal. 25 years later, Australian Machine Head fans will get to witness classics such as Davidian, Old, Blood For Blood and A Thousand Lies alongside deep cuts like Death Church and I’m Your God Now.”

Following Burn My Eyes, Machine Head were described as a “patient zero” for nu-metal and groove metal alongside their contemporaries Sepultura and Fear Factory. They pivoted from groove metal towards more traditional thrash styles in recent years, following 2006’s The Blackening. Their two most recent albums, Bloodstone and Diamonds and Catharsis both charted at #10 on the ARIA Albums charts. As of 2013, the band has sold over three million albums worldwide.

Tickets go on sale through Metropolis Touring on Friday, 13th of March at 12pm local time. A special pre-sale will begin at 12pm (local) on Tuesday, 10th of March until 11am, Friday 13th of March.
