Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
There’s not much better than burgers and metal right? Well, Australia is about to find out as Silverback Touring bring Drive-Thru Metal founders MAC SABBATH to the country this May.

Mac Sabbath are a parody metal band from Los Angeles, California and have come to fame through their self-constituted genre of metal called Drive-Thru Metal. Mac’ typically parody British Metal Gods Black Sabbath but make the lyrics and imagery about fast food.
The band was founded in 2014, in an anonymous multinational fast food conglomerate and are fronted by a red and yellow themed Ronald Osborne. The bands live shows began in bunker-like basements of the local restaurants as the workers allowed Ronald and a cast of characters named Slayer Mac Cheeze, Grimalice, and the Cat Burglar to play there.
The concept certainly is different, but their live shows are critically acclaimed and they’re bringing it to Australia this May for a five-date run of shows. “This show had it all: The lights, the burger-flipping, the moshing, the stage-diving, and of course, the attention to detail” wrote Hunnypot Unlimited.
In their home country, the Phoenix New Times praised Mac Sabbath for their originality saying that the band had “one of the most brilliant ideas in a long time …”
It’s known that Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne himself are fans of Mac Sabbath with the band having shared links on their official Facebook in 2015. Ozzy Osborne also commented that “It’s fun, they did a good job, they are funny as f*^k.”
So, if the man himself approves of them, Australian audiences are sure to like them as well when they hit our shores for the first time this May.
