Endorphin is a fantastic track, blurring the lines between techno and metalcore, as if metal horns and glowsticks alike are being thrown up with equal force. The electronic elements start the song, with the styles bleeding in and out of each other in chameleon-esque way, showing off how practiced the band are when playing this song live. Alongside the stellar performance of the band, the video also shows the performance of visual art group Mes, which give the song even more dimensions of style.

“Our very first streamed live OPEN THE DIMENSIONS is a big step for us to move forward during the COVID-19 crisis, I know it’s not a proper live show but you can see and feel our raw energy through the screen. All of us are suffering these days and we wanted to give a positive message through our music,” vocalist Ken Koie says.

Forming in 2006, Crossfaith have become one of Japan’s most experimental heavy metal bands, with their particular style of music always aiming to push the boundaries of genre, in increasingly interesting and successful ways as evidenced by the success of their most recent EP Species in may of this year.

Having shared stages with the likes of Bring Me the Horizon, Of Mice & Men, Architects, and Heartist, they have stormed into the international stage with their particular brand of electro-core metal.

“Go check out this video and access to full length live while you can. See you on the other side!”

An archive of the Tokyo Sessions live stream can be purchased and accessed until the 22nd of September.

You can purchase your tickets to the live stream here.
