THECITYISOURS have put their emotions on full display with their latest single, Regret About Me.

It’s another taste of their upcoming album, Coma, set to drop on October 22nd through Arising Empire.

“Regret About Me is about acknowledging people who were once a big part of your life that you have severed ties with. From past relationships to family members or friends who have wronged you. It speaks on forgiveness and accountability, however difficult that may be.” says guitarist Mikey Page. “I felt it was important to represent the vulnerabilities that can come from these types of situations. There is a real stigma around young men sharing their thoughts and feelings. I’m very passionate about pulling back the curtain and speaking openly about how I have been affected mentally & physically. Hopefully, this encourages others to embrace their emotional insecurities for their own well being and mental health.”

Coma was recorded, engineered and mixed by Oz Craggs (Neck Deep, Mallory Knox) at Hidden Track Studios and mastered by Ermin Hamidovic (Architects, Northlane). It is also one of the band’s first tracks with new vocalist Oli Duncanson.

“Oli has been a part of our team for a long time. He is a very well respected entity in his own right amongst the music scene. We’d seen snippets of his capabilities over the years, so when he registered an interest in becoming a part of CITY, we knew we had to explore…and we clicked instantly.” adds page.

THECITYISOURS, who hail from London, dropped their debut album, Low, in 2019. That year, they featured on a string of UK festivals, including Burn It Down, a fly-in appearance at High Fives Festival in Sweden and a headline set in the Doghouse Tent at Download Festival.
