Finding their inspiration in chaos, the band took cues from the current global landscape and their surroundings. “It is natural for artists to use their voice to express frustration and fear with the current social and political climate in which we live.”, they said in an official statement.

To celebrate the release, the band has also shared its official music video, directed by Kim Quint. Eagle-eyed Sydney viewers might recognise the stage and surroundings of The Factory Theatre in the clip, which also features Mark Furze of Home & Away/ The Voice fame.

Wolf Creek formed in late 2018, bringing together ex-Badge Of Honour members, Chase Bosward and Mark Rajić and drummer Hugh L Jones. With a mutual love of all things heavy, and an appreciation of scene icons Deftones, Architects and Bring Me The Horizon,  it was only a matter of time before magic happened. Now, with Scott Gallagher on bass, the band has made it their mission to dominate the Sydney heavy scene.

In pre- COVID times, the band supported fellow Australians Pavilion, FANGZ and Isotopes. Their past releases have also achieved a considerable amount of support from Apple Music, triple j, triple j Unearthed and Edge Radio.

Viral will officially drop on Friday, November 27th. It will also be supported with a one-off launch show at Frankie’s Pizza on Sunday, November 29th. Catch all the details below.
