Looks like we weren’t the only ones digging Marilyn Manson’s latest record WE ARE CHAOS, claiming the top spot on the ARIA Album Charts this week.

WE ARE CHAOS is now Manson’s highest-ranking debut since 1998’s Mechanical Animals. On an international scale, the record debuted in the top 10 of several countries and also took out the #8 slot on the Billboard Top 200, making it his eighth consecutive album to reach the Top 10 on the esteemed charts.
We at Hysteria aren’t surprised to see the album racking up all these accolades. We gave it an almost perfect score in our review, saying: “His reticence at casting off the veils of performance has always fuelled speculation that the distance between his character and his true persona may not be that far apart. An introspective mirror of its creator’s mind, We Are Chaos muddies already murky waters even further.” (shameless plug here by the way).
WE ARE CHAOS was produced by Manson and GRAMMY® Award winner Shooter Jennings, who’s worked with the likes of Brandi Carlile and Billy Ray Cyrus. It is available for streaming or purchase now through Loma Vista Recordings; grab your copy here!
If you need more of the shock-rocker in your life, you can also check out the Don’t Chase The Dead music video, directed by Travis Shinn. It features classic Manson visuals and appearances by Boondock Saint and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.
