Wallflower was the last song I wrote for our upcoming album,” says Feldmann. “It’s coming out later this year on my own label (Big Noise) and that just is a very full-circle moment that I am so proud of.”

“This song is written for my wife who is truly everything to me. Until she found her place in LA, she was a bit of a wallflower, but she was always with me. I also have an emotional attachment to the film Perks of Being A Wallflower, so combining that art with our classic Space Girl imagery seemed like it tied it all together.”

Since forming in 1994, Goldfinger has gained quite the reputation in the ska scene. They are considered major players in both its revitalisation in the mid-1990s and the explosion of pop-punk in the early 2000s. Outside of this, they have remained active and outspoken on a variety of political and social issues, including animal rights.

Goldfinger has promised more news will follow soon. In the meantime, you can stream or purchase Wallflower. Never Look Back is also available for pre-order/pre-save, catch all the details here.
