Melbourne heavy-hitters DREGG has shared visuals for their recent single, Beta Gods.

The clip is everything we’ve come to expect from the band. It’s technicoloured, high energy and, most importantly, the perfect match for the track itself—which features appearances from Brisbane rapper/producer NERVE. In a statement, the band explained it was born after both parties met at Yours and Owls fest.

“This is one for the culture,” says DREGG on the self-produced track. “Something to bring Australian hardcore and Australian hip-hop together. We linked up with NERVE at Yours and Owls Festival back in April and couldn’t wait to jump in the studio together and get to work. The song is about harnessing your ultimate potential and taking control of the situation you’re in, no matter how good or bad and making it your own.”

DREGG’s music is inspired by individualism and the current state of the world. And while the band are well known for their tongue in cheek approach, they’ve also built their reputation on their unique blend of hardcore, rap and metal. They are Christopher Mackertich (vocals), Jordan McQuitty (guitar), Sam Yates (guitar), Aiden Zovic (bass), and Horhay Delalopez (drums).
Beta Gods is available to stream and view now.
