ALPHA WOLF // Release New Single ‘bleed 4 you’

Melbourne metalcore band Alpha Wolf have released the third single, bleed 4 you from their upcoming second album a quiet place to die, which is set to be released on the 25^th of September.

bleed 4 you is a banger of a track, with heavy, dark riffs, machine gun drumming, lead singer Lochie Keogh’s growling emotional vocals and an otherworldly appearance from The Beautiful Monument’s Lizi Blanco that adds to the grim appeal of the song with a gentle but powerful vocal performance.

“We initially had written pages of lyrics for this song. It seems most people have a story of meeting the exact right person at the exact wrong time, so there was no short supply of input” says guitarist Sabian Lynch.

“This song is a little out of our comfort zone but upon completion we feel we created something special. We’re not a band who wants to stick solely to one sound, we have a wide variety of influences and we want each song to stand up on its own.”

One of the ways that the band left their comfort zone was inviting Lizi Blanco from The Beautiful Moment into the studio to add another level to the track.

“Bringing Lizi in to be part of bleed 4 you was something special. We haven’t had an outside voice sing on a song of ours for quite some time and so we were very cautious at first; however being label mates with Lizi/The Beautiful Monument as well as huge fans of her voice, it all came together so well and we couldn’t have found a better fit” Says Lynch.

“We flew her down to our studio to just make it that little more personal, and once we began, we were so overwhelmed at how perfect her voice sat in the song, we knew we were onto something special.”
