Great Job! are a band on the verge of a spectacular breakthrough. And they have tracks like their latest indie-punk bop, Break Up With Your Boyfriend, to thank for it.

The tune is the first taste of their upcoming EP, which we’re thrilled to say will drop at the end of October. It’s also accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek music video, which intertwines footage of the band performing and a gatho with mates.
“The song is born from that silent shared frustration felt as you and your friends watch a nice girl you know date the worst man you’ve ever met,” says the band’s vocalist Charlie Hollands. “It’s fun, it’s super dancey, it’s a little dark in places, but when the chorus hits, it’s a cathartic release that perfectly captures the obvious, blunt message; Break Up With Your Boyfriend.”
Great Job! hail from Sydney. They released their first single, I Haven’t Seen Harry Potter, back in 2018. Since then, they’ve gigged to their indie-punk hearts’ content and supported the likes of The Hard Aches and Raised As Wolves. They’ve also delighted us with an EP and a stack of infectious singles.
Break Up With Your Boyfriend will officially hit streaming platforms tomorrow. You can pre-save it here.
To celebrate the upcoming EP, the band will also play a hometown show in Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Saturday, 29th October. Grab your tickets here.
