Alongside the news, the metalcore giants have also dropped the first taste of the LP, in the form of Hole In Me.
“Pure hatred, self-loathing and nihilism,” are themes that unravel throughout this record, says lead vocalist Jack Bergin. “There is absolutely no bright side to it. It’s my own twisted brain at work, melting away like a candle into nothing from the beginning to the very end of the record.”
Hyperdaze follows the release of their 2016 debut full-length, Children Of Chrome. Over the last couple of years the band has also dropped 2017’s Disturbia EP and 2018 single Kill All My Friends.
“This is the most we’ve explored each and every detail that we put onto an album,” says Bergin. “From fine-tuning and tweaking all the synths and accompaniment to the grittiness and aggression of the vocals, we really wanted the pure anger that went into making these recordings to translate out the other side–something I feel we haven’t quite grasped on previous records.”
Void Of Vision are set to tour Australia this October, in support of Northlane. The band have previously held down slots at Good Things, UNIFY and Halloween Hysteria, visited Europe and embarked on extensive headline runs across the nation.
Hyperdaze will drop through UNFD, preorders are available now.
