Joining the fun in Sydney will be Hemina. The four piece prog-metal outfit recently released their fourth album Night Echoes, marking the start of a new chapter for their eclectic, hard-hitting sound.
Southern Empire will join the Swedes during their trek to Adelaide. Since signing to UK label GEP Records in 2016, the prog-rockers released their self- titled debut, and 2018’s follow up Civilisation, topping charts world-wide.
They join the previously announced Voyager (Perth), Circles (Melbourne) and Caligula’s Horse (Brisbane).
Since forming in the sleepy Stockholm suburb of Bandhagen in 1990, Opeth has released 12 records, receiving critical acclaim and the title of one of the best bands on the planet. With an immense back catalogue to dig into, the tour will see the prog-veterans play classics from their 30- year career, as well as tracks from their latest record In Cauda Venenum.
Limited tickets remain for Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Punters in Sydney and Brisbane are fresh out of luck though, with both shows officially sold out.
