Death metal icons Obituary has announced the Cause Of Death tour, hitting our shores in January 2020.
The tour will celebrate the legendary record of the same name, released through Roadrunner Records thirty years ago. Aside from playing the album in full, the band will also play a choice selection of death metal cuts from their early years. Making their hotly anticipated first appearances in Australia will be Singapore’s vitriolic grind terrorists Wormrot, joining Obituary for all dates.
Obituary began their career as Xecutioner in 1984. Since then, they’ve released ten LPs, their most recent being 2017’s self-titled. They are widely considered one of the most successful death metal acts of all time and pioneers of the genre.
General Admission tickets for all shows will go on sale on Tuesday, October 15th at 9 AM EDST. VIP tickets will also be available, strictly limited to 20 people per show. VIP bundles will include memorabilia, a meet and greet, VIP entry and an exclusive ‘Morrisound Days’ Q&A session. Catch all the dates below.
