With Up Late, a mix of genres is to be expected but this time, it has been taken to whole new levels.

The EP opens with an explosion of vocals as soon as you hit play with the first track Diva. There is no intro or build up into the song, you are really just thrown straight into the deep end. This speaks volumes on who Up Late is as an artist, someone who isn’t going to hold back. The lead single from the EP, Heartsick, is a definite highlight. It’s a song that perfectly represents the ups and downs of love and heartbreak.

Total Fucking Darkness! is an EP that Up Late fans are gonna absolutely love and it’s a great introduction for new listeners!

You Peaked In High School featuring DXMANT is another highlight. The EP is Up Late’s letter to his younger self and this is so clear throughout this song. The emotions are loud and confrontational. The only true complaint is that some of the songs could be longer in length. They really start to build up energy and make you want to get up and dance but then they are over. Dirt Bike is by far the most emotionally honest song on the EP and paints a picture of life in a small town. However, it’s only one minute and 40 seconds long and you’re left wanting to hear the rest of the story. Total Fucking Darkness! is an EP that Up Late fans are gonna absolutely love and it’s a great introduction for new listeners!
