KVELERTAK // Sign To Rise Records And Announce New Album ‘Splid’

Norwegian band Kvelertak have just been signed to Rise Records with a new album Splid on the way, to be released on the 14th of February, 2020.

The record will be the first from Kvelertak since their 2016 album Nattesferd and is their first album featuring new singer, Ivar Nikolaisen, who joined the group in 2018. The upcoming album also features songs in English and a special guest, Troy Sanders of Mastodon.

Kvelertak have also released the first track off the album, Bråtebrann earlier this week on the 26^th November, 2019.

The album was recorded with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Code Orange, Zeal & Ardor, Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan, High On Fire) at Godcity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts.

Known previously for albums recorded fully in Norwegian, a few tracks off Splid are in English including the track Crack of Doom in which Troy Sanders of Mastodon features on. Full track listing below.
