Indiana’s Murder by Death is promoting their latest album The Other Shore, which was released back in August 2018. The album sees the band present their indie folk-rock sound with a romantic space opera concept to match. The Other Shore is full of revelations musically and lyrically, and is not to be missed live. Kevin Letterman (My Morning Jacket, Ray Lamontagne) and Anne Gauthier recorded the LP at La La Land in Louisville.
Also promoting their latest, Laura Jane Grace and the Devouring Mothers are coming down under to show off their debut album Bought to Rot.
The album acts as an energetic, raw, noisey and rousing collection of tracks from the prolific members, featuring Against Me! drummer Atom Willard and Producer Marc Hudson on bass. It is a definite sidestep from Against Me’s more melodic leanings and turning up the punky attitude and making good use of its three piece line-up. The album has been praised by the New York Times, saying that it “picks up where The Strokes’ Is this it left off’”.
You can also catch singer songwriter Emmy Hour on the tour with her awesome brand of indie with Acoustic, folk, punk and country flavours inserted.
