IN HEARTS WAKE // Drop New Single & Video “Hellbringer” featuring Jamie Hails of Polaris

Eco-friendly Aussie metalcore giants In Hearts Wake have released Hellbringer, the third single off their upcoming 100% carbon offset new album Kaliyuga, with a goofy new video poking fun at the new normal of live-streamed concerts.

Carrying on with the same intensity of previous tracks Worldwide Suicide and Son of a Witch, In Hearts Wake have once brought the fire. Hellbringer cements the Byron boys’ latest effort as the final piece in their elemental puzzle–with their past three releases already covering earth, wind and water.

But don’t worry about getting burnt. The Hellbringer video shows off the boys’ lighter side, contrasting the striking visuals of their Worldwide Suicide clip with some of the more trivial struggles of the post COVID-19 world. Their wacky new clip for the heavy track boasts a joyful positivity that screams out in defiance to anyone who still dares to call their music “the devil’s music.”

“At some of our American shows extremist groups have picketed outside, telling our fans that they’re ‘going to hell’. If only they knew just how positive the energy inside the venue was! … So rather than fight hate with hate, we decided to have some fun and lean into the metal stereotype.” said frontman Jake Taylor.

In the tradition of previous hard-hitting tracks Earthwalker and Skydancer, Hellbringer also features another terrific guest set of vocals, this time from Polaris’ Jamie Hails.

“We thought it would be funny to ask Jamie to dress up as a werewolf, turn me into a vampire and rain blood on the entire band. Guess Halloween came early this year.” said Taylor.

Kaliyuga is due out August 7, 2020. Until then, singles Hellbringer (featuring Jamie Hail of Polaris), Worldwide Suicide, and Son of a Witch are available now on all streaming platforms.
