DISENTOMB // Announce New Album With A Tour Of Australia And New Zealand

Eight months after their last live performance and five years after their last release, Disentomb have re-sparked their metal crusade with The Decaying Light. Billed as a brutal death metal act, new single Your Prayers Echo Into Nothingness validates this point.

As first impressions go, Your Prayers Echo Into Nothingness is four minutes of visceral screams and heavy riffs. Encompassing and suffocating, the sound of the band feels trapped in a vacuum with only the constant drum beats keeping the sound from delineating into chaos.

With the contribution of feature vocalist Matti Way, this first single provides an unrelenting taste of The Decaying Light. With the bands statement of this being one of the most distinguished albums yet, The Decaying Light promises 13 tracks of sheer brutality.

The Decaying Light will be Disentomb‘s first release since their 2014 breakthrough record, Misery. The album is set for release on July 12 through EVP Recordings in Australia and Unique Leader in the US and Europe and will celebrate the bands tenth year since their conception.

Along with the release of a new single Disentomb have announced a tour of Australia and New Zealand, kicking off in Melbourne. Their performance in Melbourne will mark the release of the album, with tickets now on sale.

With performances supporting acts like Napalm Death and Cannibal Corpse, Disentomb promise the performances of a road hardened band. Along with their scheduled tour, Disentomb will also appear at the Dead Of Winter Festival this July.
