Dear Joey and Brooke, What a wild ride! I just wanted to write to express …
UNI/VS is back, baby! After two long, painful years, the Brisbane based band has returned with a brand new tune, Saboteur.

It’s accompanied by a heavy music video, filmed and directed by Colin Jeffs and produced by Ten of Swords and the band themselves.

“Saboteur was inspired through observation of a flawed part of the human condition—the desire to consciously and subconsciously self-sabotage our lives when things become uncomfortable or foreign. Even when the change or situation is beneficial we sometimes seem to look for an out from responsibility, stress or power. It’s only when we hit rock bottom we seem to feel grounded,” says guitarist and vocalist Michael Ryan.
UNI/VS (pronounced Universes) joined forces back in 2017 and quickly turned heads with their smashing debut EP, Deaths Door. Following that, they released the single Upside Down and also shared stages with the likes of Silverstein, Stick To Your Guns, Being As An Ocean, Dream On Dreamer, Thornhill and a whole lot more.
The band were last on our radar in early 2020 when they dropped Hellhound. Unfortunately, COVID did tear apart their plans to tour the East Coast and Sweden, but we couldn’t be more stoked to have them back now.
Saboteur was produced, mixed and mastered by Gareth Hargraves (The Brave, The Comfort, She Cries Wolf).
