With a new line up, new sound and a new album on the horizon, Earth Alone are ready to hit 2020 hard.

Take Me is the first track off the group’s upcoming debut album set for release by the end of the year. An emotionally charged track to lead with, guitarist Kye Blomeley explains that it’s a track that captures the overall feeling of their debut record, and one with a message that’s universal to many.

“It’s about how you can feel helpless and there is nothing you can do, but you have to literally “Push Through” and do something about it.” says Blomeley.

I mainly hope everyone just digs some heavy tunes and can take a break of the craziness of the world for 3 minutes and 43 seconds.

Founded four years ago with existing members guitarist Kye Blomeley and bassist Aidan Kofoed, Earth Alone have been through a lot in the lead-up to their debut album. After their vocalist left the band, they had to start again from scratch: but Take Me is an indicator that, despite the shake up, things are looking up for them.

“We pretty much took all the music we had and reworked all of it and wrote some new tracks. My overall song writing approach changed dramatically since we first started the band, so all the songs ended up coming out way more cohesive and enjoyable, rather than just a random riff salad for 3 minutes. The new tracks have much more variety to them, bring influences from all over the place. The album definitely doesn’t stick to one specific genre.” says Blomeley.

While you can expect some similar tracks to Take Me on the group’s debut, listeners can expect some different things too, with the album taking inspiration from nu-metal and classic metalcore as well as the undeniably deathcore sound of this lead single.

“I mainly hope everyone just digs some heavy tunes and can take a break of the craziness of the world for 3 minutes and 43 seconds.” says Blomeley.
