Brisbane’s The Comfort are back in a big way, and they’ve dropped yet another towering …
Calling all pop-punk fans! We’ve found your next favourite band, Danger Den, who’ve just unleashed their absolute banger of a debut single, Drag Me Down.
MORE: HALLOWEEN HYSTERIA: The Creature Returns From The Undead // FANGZ: Woodie’s Top Five Drummers Of All Time // RISE AGAINST: The American Dream REVIEWS: AFI: Bodies // RISE AGAINST: Nowhere Generation // CHASING GHOSTS: Homelands // KENNYHOOPLA: Survivors Guilt: The Mixtape // HELLOWEEN: Helloween
Originally recorded a few years back, the track is a feel-good number, with breezy melodies and enough nostalgia to send you straight back to the 2000s (think Green Day, All Time Low and New Found Glory).
“This is a very important professional moment with everything coming up, both for new singles and public appearances. We are sure our fans will be very happy with this new song and our official debut to the industry,” says the band.
Danger Den came together in 2018, hoping to spread the awesomeness of pop-punk all over their home city of Darwin. After a few internal changes, they’ve landed on their current lineup of Jeremy Uyloan (lead vocals/ lead guitar), Callan Power (bass/vocals), Morgan Lockhart (drums/vocals) and Brendan Weinheimer (rhythm guitar/vocals). In their time together, they’ve impressed with their high energy live shows, playing venues like Happy Yess and the Darwin Railway.
The band plans to release more singles this year and have even hinted at an album! Keep your eyes on their socials for more details. Drag Me Down is available to stream now.
