They’ve called themselves Darwin’s next favourite pop-punk band, and with nostalgic, hooky offerings like this, we can see why!

The record pulls from baggy cargo clad source material and nods to the likes of Blink-182, New Found Glory and All Time Low. And while Danger Den has clearly drawn influence from days spent at a skatepark, they’ve also fully embraced the sweeter, poppier side of the genre. It’s fitting when you consider the title of opening track Sugar Rush and the romantic ditties that make up a massive chunk of the record (notably Emma and Merry-Go-Round).

Pull Yourself Together will have you dancing right down memory lane.

Danger Den has spoken about their multiple lineup changes and track reworks, and going through these experiences undoubtedly helped them find their key to success. Jeremy Uyloan (vocals/guitar), Callan Power (bass), Brendan Weinheimer (guitar) and Morgan Lockhart (drums) have smashed out their Americanised melodies with unity and a whole lot of energy, showing just how much they have to offer the music world.

Pull Yourself Together will have you dancing right down memory lane. It is a celebration of an old favourite sound and definitive proof that we should all be paying waaay more attention to the talent coming out of Darwin.

STANDOUT TRACKS: Drag Me Down, Too Much To Ask, Emma
STICK THIS NEXT TO: Blink-182, New Found Glory, All Time Low
