THE BLACKWATER FEVER // Share New Single ‘The Highway’

Garage blues lords The Blackwater Fever has unleashed another piece of genuine rock onto the world with their latest single, The Highway.

The track was inspired by Cormac McCarthy’s post-apocalyptic novel, The Road. 

In a statement, the Brisbane based trio added: “We scattered our thorns and now run barefoot. There’s an ill wind blowing that blows no good. Out on the highway, will the good in us overcome?”

TBWF has racked up 80,000 monthly listeners and 13 million streams on Spotify. Since coming together in 2005, they’ve dropped five albums and played shows with the likes of The Black Keys and Tame Impala. They were recently included on the Showtime TV series Shameless and ABC’s Mystery Road.

The Highway is available to stream now. The band will play a string of shows to support it, catch all dates below.
