It’s ballsy putting out an album of just covers. But AWOLNATION has pulled it off.

My Echo, My Shadow, My Covers & Me puts a bright coat of paint on some old classics. And it’s got a little something for everyone. There’s the gritty Beds Are Burning, featuring Tim McIlrath of Rise Against. And the breezy Take A Chance On Me, with guest vocals from JewelFans of a bit of boogie will love Maniac, the standout collaboration with Conor Mason of Nothing But Thieves. Hyro The Hero’s feature on Just A Friend is another highlight, bringing a sense of flair to the record.

Then there’s Taylor Hanson’s appearance on the boppy Material Girl, a cover that’ll warm the heart of every 90s baby. Wind of Change, a masterclass in classic rock delivered by AWOLNATION, Incubus Brandon Boyd and members of Portugal.The Man. And the dreamy pop tones of Elohim on Flagpole Sitta. There’s a whole lot to uncover in the LPs eleven tracks and a stack of incredible features we haven’t even mentioned.
