Oz rockers Audio Reign has followed up the release of their electrifying new single, Relentless, with a live stream gig announcement.

The virtual reality stream will take place on Sunday, July 18th, and will be broadcasted from Crown and Anchor in Adelaide, South Australia. “With the release of our new single, we wanted to do something different, something special that hadn’t been done before. A live VR show was the answer, and the only company that we could trust to make this happen was Netgigs.” says lead vocalist Jake Fleming.
On the gig format, Philip Vafiadis, Netgigs Chairman-Elect, adds: “Netgigs is now ushering in Virtual Reality (VR) with simple headsets to deliver the incredible experience of being at a live music concert as it happens, wherever it happens. Not like watching TV, but an immersive experience as close as possible to feel like you are in the action, not watching it from afar. You can enjoy the show from the front row being a part of the live crowd and can even be on stage with your favourite artist!”
Audio Reign came together in 2011. Their debut EP Find Your Way dropped in 2014 and was mastered by Jens Bogren (Dragonforce, Opeth). In the same year, the band made their festival debut at Big Day Out (RIP), wowing a crowd of over 15,000 rock fans. They have since toured with the likes of Skillet and Pop Evil and supported Kip Winger in 2020 in an acoustic setting. Their self-titled debut LP dropped in 2018.
