With some major nostalgic vibes in tow, An Honest Mistake depicts an 80’s prom—very reminiscent of iconic flicks like Carrie and Back To The Future.

“We wanted to take some of the concepts and emotions from the EP and basically apply them to an 80’s prom”, says frontman Jack Cume. “The band are cure-esque goths that use their cult-like powers to sway the prom. The clip is something that was maybe not what you would necessarily expect from a band like us and takes the grand narrative we explored in the EP to a different place.”

A Honest Mistake features on their 2020 EP of the same name. The music video is the natural, next step for the band, who aimed to continue the narrative of a preacher building a cult-like following of misfits.

Wolf & Chain hail from Adelaide. They made their debut last year and brought the spirit of the roaring ’20s out in their music. With theatrical emo/punk and rock elements to their sound, they’ve positioned themselves as one of the most exciting up-and-comers Australia has to offer.

The band’s previous releases have seen a whole lot of support from the likes of Triple J, idobi Radio (US) and Aussie Music Weekly. They’ve also been placed on rotation on The Faction.

Wolf & Chain’s first headline show of 2021 is set to take place on 13th February with support from Terra (Melbourne) and Agapanther (Adelaide). Catch all the details below.
