2017’s coveted VB Hard Yards competition winners, Mini Skirt from Byron Bay, have recorded a split 7” vinyl with iconic Aussie rockers the Cosmic Psychos.

With the help of Victoria Bitter’s ongoing support for live Australian rock music, the company not only rewarded Mini Skirt $5k in cash for their stellar performance at the Lansdowne, but also funded the recording, mixing, and creation of the 7”.

Now we’ve got a brand-spanking new Mini Skirt track Fun Police, which was recorded at A Sharp Studios with Nick Franklin.

On the flip side to Mini Skirt features Cosmic Psychos’ Nice Day To Go To The Pub as well as a re-worked version of Victoria Bitter’s famous “For A Hard Earned Thirst” anthem.

With only a limited amount of 7” copies available, they’re up for grabs at Cosmic Psychos and Mini Skirt’s web stores now, as well as on the upcoming VB Hard Yards tour.

Coming up in early October, VB Hard Yards expanded up Australia’s East Coast. Giving over 600 local bands the chance to go on tour with massive headliners over each state; Being Jane Lane, Paper Thin and Claws & Organs nabbing the spots.
