Singer/guitarist Gabe Gabriels on Knife To The Memory; “Knife to the memory is a recollection from when I was a child. My mother was terminally ill and seeking salvation through religion. There were people in and out of the house constantly, priests, doctors, family. Drawing on those memories and travelling back through time to capture and convey the mood within them. Knife is song about letting go of the past, cutting ties with regrets and forging your own history.“

True Believer recently announced the addition of two new members joining the founding trio of Gabe Gabriels (Vocals/Guitar), brother Luke Toomey (Guitar/Vocals) and Duane Jackson (Bass). Drummer Aaron Fiocca (Dream on Dreamer) and keys/vocalist Sarah Lim (Earth, The Night Terrors) were both heavily involved in True Believer’s musical past and are now firmly entrenched in their future–the quintessential True Believer.

In 2017 True Believer were introduced to the world with the My Satan EP, recorded & mixed by Joel Taylor at The Black Lodge (Blackhelm, Encircling Sea, Slowly Slowly), and in 2018 followed up with Servant & From Lucifer with Love–engineered, mixed & mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano at Orgone Studios (Ghost, Paradise Lost, Orange Goblin). So it’s only fitting that 2023 would bring forth the collaboration on new single KNIFE TO THE MEMORY (Recorded & engineered by Joel Taylor, Mixed & Mastered by Jaime Gomez Arellano).
