The EP includes never before heard single Song For Maddie, as well as acoustic renditions of previously released singles Confidence and Breaking. Cassie Sutton’s vocals are accompanied by backing vocalist Rosie Handley, mandolin by Steve Cannatelli and a gentle and tender string section that’s sure to wretch up some emotions.

Sutton explains the meaning behind Song For Maddie, “This song is deeply personal and is written from experience, but it’s also dedicated to anyone who feels like they’re in a dark place.”

“In these situations it’s easy to feel like a burden, so we wanted to send a reassuring message to listeners: the people that love you and care about you want you to ask for help and not suffer alone.”

While Terra are best known for their catchy, uplifting rock tunes, they’ve managed to give the tracks on this EP a brand-new identity and explore new ideas and voicing’s that provide more depth and meaning than the previous releases.

After gaining some serious hype last year with the release of Confidence, the band have performed at UNIFY Gathering 2020 and have supported the likes of Ocean Grove, Yours Truly, Skillet (US), The Beautiful Monument, Slowly Slowly, RedHook, Sienna Skies, The Maine, Storm The Sky and many more.

Terra’s brand-new EP Into Deep Blue is out now worldwide.
