Hardcore luminaries Stick To Your Guns have announced The Meaning Remains, their forthcoming acoustic EP set to drop on 18th February via Pure Noise.

To get us hyped, they’ve shared the first taste of the four-tracker—a reimagined take on their classic, Amber.

“This is an EP of some of our most popular STYG songs translated in a new light,” says frontman Jesse Barnett. “Although the setting of these songs may seem slow and sombre, the meaning of these songs remains with the same furious passion for which they were intended. They are sung quietly and gently from the same place that they are screamed. For us, fury and peace go hand and hand. They are both tools that we believe are necessary. We hope you enjoy these songs you’ve heard a thousand times—but now in a new way.”

Stick To Your Guns came together in the early 2000’s and have since released six full-length LPs and three EPs. They have toured with the likes of Parkway Drive, Architects, Knocked Loose and Counterparts and recently visited Australia with their fellow Californians, Terror. Their current lineup is Jesse Barnett (Vocals), Andrew Rose (Bass), George Schmitz (Drums), Chris Rawson (Guitar) and Josh James (Guitar).

The Meaning Remains will also include a cover of the 80’s mega-hit Take On Me by A-Ha.
