They’ve also shared the official music video for the EPs title track—filmed, edited and produced by frequent collaborator Lord Tim.

The brains behind the project, Jess Finlayson, explained In My Room to be inspired by her delinquent cat, Cyril, as well as people who don’t respect others boundaries. Jess also went on to list abuses of power, the effects of those abuses and often swept under the carpet topics as some of the main inspirations for the project—we’re telling ya, there’s a whole lot of heart and a whole lot to say here.

Finlayson recently launched her own record label, Interloper Records, with this EP making history as its first release.

In My Room also features past singles Careful What You Wish For, and I Don’t Look Good On Paper. Above all, In My Room features blistering, badass rock that’ll have you headbanging to your heart’s content.
