PREMIERE: CARMERIA // Unleash New Single ‘To Lead The Blind’

Symphonic metal fans rejoice! The mighty Carmeria have returned with a new single, To Lead The Blind. Spoiler alert-it’s yet another blistering attack on the senses.

It will feature on their upcoming debut album, Advenae. In a bold move, the band has wholeheartedly embraced their theatric, gothic sensibilities and filled the track-and it’s accompanying music video!-with vocals, riffs and orchestral moments as intense as each other.

‘To Lead the Blind was the final track we wrote for the album, and it became apparent early on in the process that we were going to select it as one of the singles. Sonically, this drew a lot of inspiration from our power metal influences and allowed Jerry (Zahija, guitarist) and I to explore new territory as songwriters. We feel this track and the two previous singles (Morningstar and Celestia) perfectly encapsulate the essence of this album and paint a fairly good picture of what you can expect from this record. That said, we still have some surprises left in the vault’, says frontman Jordan Von Grae.

In recent history, Carmeria have dropped two mammoth singles, Morningstar and Celestia and undergone some lineup changes. They are currently signed with both Destroy All Lines Agency for bookings in Australia and New Zealand and Hard Drive Agency for their worldwide management. 

To Lead the Blind was written and performed by the band themselves. It was produced, mixed and mastered by Lord Tim at SLS Studios, Wollongong with all artwork by Jon Hocking. Advenae is set to drop on May 14th, 2021. Watch this space: total domination of the Aus heavy music world is sure to follow!
