Sydney’s The Kids have shared the music video for Go Back To Canberra.

The video was made in partnership with the folks at Pinebox Clothing. It follows the release of the single itself, which dropped back in November 2020.

In a statement, the punk outfit said, “Go Back To Canberra has all the melody of a shark alarm. It’s a dogged no-nonsense song, an attack ode to the bleak and oppressive landscape of Canberra. A city that undeservedly is the epicentre of Australian democracy, home of weak-willed politicians, bank rolling a nation into mediocrity.”

The Kids came together in 2016, aiming to produce cacophonous, authentic punk-rock. They are Jagger (drums/vocals), Why Man? (guitar/vocals), Jonesy (guitar), Whats (bass) and Ric Hards (tin whistle).

The Kids have named Bad Brains, Fugazi, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, Descendents and Black Flag as some of their key influences. They have also toured with some of the biggest names in the scene, including Billy Idol, The Delta Riggs, Guttermouth, Skid Row and T.S.O.L – huge accomplishments for a bunch of eighteen-year-olds!
