HELLYEAH has given us the second serving of their ongoing Welcome Home documentary series.

The series, which will continue to be released through the end of August, discusses the band’s reaction to the passing of member Vinnie Paul, and how they decided to finish their new album in honour of him, amidst the tragedy of his death.

Paul passed away in 2018 from heart disease. Since then, the hard rockers have started the Vinnie Paul campaign with the American Heart Association. They are hoping to raise over $10,000 for the AHA by donating a portion of all ticket sales from their current US tour to the campaign.

“Everyone can make some kind of change for the better,” says bassist Kyle Sanders. “It’s never too late.”

HELLYEAH was formed in 2006 by Pantera founder/drummer Vinnie Paul, singer Chad Gray (Mudvayne), and guitarist Tom Maxwell (Nothingface). Bassist Kyle Sanders (Bloodsimple) and guitarist Christian Brady joined in 2014. Since forming, the band has released five albums, culminating in the #2 Hard Rock album release UNDEN!ABLE in June 2016.

Aside from the docuseries, HELLYEAH has also dropped singles Welcome Home, 333 and Oh My God. All will feature on the album and are available for streaming and purchase now. Welcome Home is the band’s fastest-growing song at US Active Rock Radio, currently sitting in the Top 15.

Their final album with Vinnie Paul, Welcome Home is slated for release on Friday, 27th September, through Eleven Seven Music. It will feature Paul’s final recordings and is available for pre-order now
