HEADWRECK // Continue To Grow Their Empire With ‘Let it Feel’

Brisbane’s Headwreck has placed themselves miles above their peers with their latest tune, Let it Feel.

It’s a scorching blend of heaviness and bounciness, and it was inspired by the cycle of addiction – whether it be to a substance, person, moment, or emotion. What impresses us the most is how Headwreck has brought the concept to life in the track’s melodies, with their down-tuned guitars, glitchy bits and blend of harsh and clean vocals all working together in perfect harmony to tell a story.

The track is also accompanied by an equally immersive music video, directed by Andrew Vaughan (Windwaker, Rumours, Revoid).

Let it Feel is the band’s first original release since their 2021 EP, Glamorise Demise, in which we scored an 8/10. In our review, we stated, “Headwreck has taken their clear love for heavy music and smashed it together with organised chaos.”

In recent times, the band has also shared a cover of Linkin Park’s Lying From You, which featured on the ARIA charting compilation album The Better Sessions Vol. 2.

Let it Feel was produced, mixed and mastered in-house by the band’s own, Jamo Benadie. It is available to stream now.
