GRAYSCALE // Announce New Album ‘Nella Vita’

Philadelphia rockers Grayscale have announced their new album Nella Vita will be released via Fearless Records on 6th September, 2019.

Following the announcement the band has also released a new single, In Violet. It follows the release of the first single from the record, Painkiller Weather.

Taking massive influence from everything from 90’s rock to funk (and modern hip-hop and R&B), Grayscale dove headfirst into writing Nella Vita. Trading their hometown of Philadelphia for Austin, TX, the band holed up in the Machine Shop with producer MACHINE (Lamb of God, As It Is, Armor For Sleep and Four Year Strong). 

Nella Vita will comprise of 12 tracks and will see the band chronicle life, its many facets, and its many complications, as they have personally experienced. The quintet have promised the LP will explore sex, drugs, death, despair and everything that embodies life through a lense that finds a lot of positivity in surviving the darkest of experiences.  

“It’s really personal,” says frontman Collin Walsh, when speaking about Nella Vita. “The music provokes a lot of visuals, because it’s very conversational, real, and romantic. I suppose that’s just how I write. The songs capture the spectrum of emotions that you experience in life and real experiences like love, sex, being a teenager, addiction, pain, joy, grief, death, and everything. Life isn’t just one thing; neither is music. We’re a rock band, but we want people to dance, laugh, cry, and have fun.”
