Back in August, Gang Of Youths made history when they were announced as the first band to be showcased on MTV Australia’s new, natively filmed Unplugged series.

Filmed afront a live studio audience at Melbourne’s Cobblestone Pavilion, the band delivered a breathtaking showcase of stripped-back cuts from their chart-destroying 2017 album, Go Farther In Lightness. It was a truly transcendental experience, and now, the fivesome are releasing a recorded version of the program on CD, DVD and 2LP vinyl.

The release drops in just under a month too, hitting shelves via Mosy Recordings on Friday, October 26th. In addition to the announcement, Gang Of Youths have released a new video of Fear And Trembling, pulled straight from the JB HiFi exclusive DVD release.

Gang Of Youths are continuing their streak as Australia’s next biggest band with a 20-date headline tour—tickets for every date of which are completely sold out—hitting Melbourne, Fremantle, Hobart, Adelaide and Sydney theatres throughout November. The band were also recently announced as the headline act for 2019’s Laneway Festival, alongside Courtney Barnett.
