What If I Told You It Doesn’t Get Better is a fitting goodbye.

Props for the sarcastic “Why don’t you guys scream anymore?” that pumps up Explicit. The track feels like a mix between Bring Me The Horizon’s Antivist and I Prevail’s Gasoline. That connection also comes through strongly in Feel So Empty that bears distinct similarities to Bring Me’s Wonderful Life that can’t be unheard.

This is Dream on Dreamer through and through. There isn’t much new throughout What If I Told You to grab a hold of listeners who never dived into Dreamer at their peak. However, for a final bow out and send off to a band that introduced a legion of impressionable misfits to Australian live music, What If I Told You It Doesn’t Get Better is a fitting goodbye.
