Seattle rock export Dead Lakes have released both their brand-new single Paradise as well as their New Language EP.

Paradise is the second single from the new EP and showcases singer Summer Peterson’s powerful vocals. “Pull me back because you’re my paradise/I’d swim in this water but it’s cold as ice,” Peterson laments in Paradise, an anthemic song with a huge chorus, about the battle to climb up from despair, even with a helping hand.

Their last track from the record Close 2 Me ushered in a new era for the band and brought the announcement of the band signing to SharpTone Records.

The EP stakes claim to multiple genres, with the bold sounds appealing to fans of everything from rock and metal to pop and R&B, being compared to the likes of The Neighbourhood, PVRIS and Bring Me The Horizon.

The band worked with producer Erik Ron (Godsmack, Dance Gavin Dance, Set It Off) for the five songs that comprise New Language. The EP blends classic alt-rock, R&B and passionate post-hardcore infused with electronic flourishes.

Since 2017, Dead Lakes have released a handful of quality singles, and New Language is their finest piece of music yet.
