The new single Nobody Likes A Hospital is the first single to drop from the upcoming EP and the track will be leading the band on a national tour through Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide in March 2021.

Vocalist David De La Hoz describes Belle Haven’s latest track as “when you have experienced an awfully long and deep depression, death can begin to feel like the only way out of pain … depression is powerful. It can twist that love and compassion into selfishness … Sometimes the only thing that understands is the paper under my pen”. Nobody Likes A Hospital tackles the honest themes of depression and conversations about that overwhelming feeling with loved ones.

With mixing, mastering, producing and engineering assistance from Christopher Vernon, Belle Haven have created an emotional dramatic alternative rock song. The track also received additional drum engineering by Declan White and programming from both Callan Orr and Thomas Mitchell.

The Nobody Likes A Hospital single and tour are Belle Haven’s way of celebrating the return of live music, after the band made a quick appearance at the end of 2020 in December with their ‘emo Christmas’ release Moving On.

South Australian rockers alt. will be supporting Belle Haven on their Australian Tour presented by Greyscale Records and Destroy All Lines. An early second show has been added to Belle Haven’s hometown of Melbourne, due to selling out almost immediately.

The Time Changes Nothing EP will be released on Friday 16 April 2021, and tickets to Belle Haven’s Nobody Likes A Hospital is available right now.
