Titled after a fictional place within the BABYMETAL universe, the album is about an odyssey the band must take to the Metal Galaxy, a trajectory thrust upon them by the Fox God sending the band on a darker path.

Continuing on their journey, the band has dropped a new track PA PA YA!! featuring Thai rapper F.HERO. It follows previously released single Elevator Girl.

BABYMETAL’S last album, Metal Resistance, dropped back in 2016. In the three years that have followed, the J-Metal duo have racked up hundreds of millions of audio streams, and almost a billion YouTube views. The band has also played to 110,000 people over the course of two nights at the massive Tokyo Dome, supported Red Hot Chili Peppers on their UK arena tour and held additional support slots with Metallica in South Korean and Guns N’ Roses in Japan. Last year, BABYMETAL also made their first trip to Australia, and played all legs of Good Things festival

Metal Galaxy is available for preorder now. It will be the band’s first album without founding member Yuimetal. Both PA PA YA!! and Elevator Girl can be streamed or purchased now through all digital outlets.
