Channelling the early “black and white” era of Manchester band The 1975, Pale WavesBlack is made of dreamy verses and vocals, on top of a roaring instrumental that drive’s the song, making the perfect mix of brit-pop.

Although, strip back the instrumental and gorgeous vocals to find some heart-aching lyrics, that create some great depth to the track, making it the perfect break-up song but can also bring your mood up with the upbeat instrumentals when put together, finding the catchy tune creeping into the crevices of your mind while you work.

Described as “The Goth/pop hybrid you didn’t know you needed” (Faber) and “The UK’s biggest new band” (Wonderland), there is nothing but excitement for MY MIND MAKES NOISE, with sell-out shows across their Australian and New Zealand tours.

Soon after the release of their debut album, Pale Waves are also gearing up to go on their headlining tours across the UK, Ireland, Europe and North America as well as large festival slots in-between at festivals like Reading & Leeds, Summer Sonic to name a couple.

Working with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy on earlier singles There’s a Honey and Television Romance that are to be on the new album, the similar essence of songs like Girls and Chocolate by The 1975 really resonate within all their tracks.

The album MY MIND MAKES NOISES is available to preorder now.
