Instantly recognisable and relatable, Losing My Mind continues in the tradition of American-style emo-tinged pop-punk (think State Champs, Mayday Parade or Between You & Me) from its late 90s heyday. With themes exploring the path of self-destruction and heartache while struggling with the rollercoaster of emotions that come with relationships.

Losing My Mind was written about a scenario in which multiple things are contributing to you feeling like you’re going crazy,” Frontman Douglas Hudswell says. “The relationship that you are in is causing you grief and the problems are exacerbated by your inability to deal with them and your self-destructive tendencies. This whole situation leads to you being fed up, wanting to break free of the situation and needing to do things your own way for a while.”

Since the release of their debut EP, It Looks Better Than It Sounds, the band has surpassed the significant milestone of 140k streams across streaming platforms, wrapped up their first interstate tour, and supported the likes of Late 90s, Bad Neighbour and more. The Brisbane-based outfit continues to pump out a string of heartbroken pop-rock singles and are gearing up to produce even more music in the near future.

Two Times Shy are gaining a sizeable following, having been featured on triple J, triple J Unearthed, Apple Music playlists (New Music Daily, The New Rock, New In Punk), Kill Your Stereo and had a single aired on national TV during Channel 7’s Friday Night Footy, plus more.

You can stream/purchase the single from Friday, 26th of April.
