Penned by Hancock about her struggles with anxiety and insomnia, Paralysis Demon drills down on the demonic mind battle that can come with the territory surrounding mental health issues, while also encouraging listeners to reach out and ask for help in those difficult times. And between the looming basslines and layered vocals, Paralysis Demon is ultimately a triumphant demonstration of authoritative self-awareness that will no doubt blow a few nearby roofs off when the band launch their latest creation at The Duke this Friday in Sydney.
