Harsh and clean vocals? One dude. What vocalist Matt Greenaway does with his tone as the two styles meet in a beautiful crash of colour is very cool. The way he courses through opener Cut You Open, travelling between high and low, rough and gentle, is unbelievable. Stick this killer talent with an absolutely monstrous drummer in Joshua Haines, electrifying guitars in Jordan and James Atwill, and the pounding rumble of bassist Wes Beck, you have yourself one killer Aussie band we can all be impressed by and be proud of.

… they are sure to conquer some of the greatest heights over a career that looks to be every bit as promising as it will be loud!

It appears Summit have spared no effort with their debut, all kinds of gizmos and gadgets attached to the guitars and bass to accentuate their immense sound, gritty vocals layered up to become chants of anguish, not forgetting the subtle sweetness of a piano which adds just a hint of vulnerability.

There’s a rush to be experienced from listening to Summit (really, you’ll be left almost breathless) and true to their name, they are sure to conquer some of the greatest heights over a career that looks to be every bit as promising as it will be loud!
