To Joey & Brooke, I’ve written a lot of words on this site, but none …
This is Snowfish’s gamechanger.

Burn From Within is the fourth offering from the Newcastle based band, and it is easily their best yet.
It’s the dark, atmospheric guitars, the haunting vocals of Jordan Rodrigues, the booming basslines and the bucketloads of angst that make this track so memorable. And while Burn From Within is gritty, it’s also slickly produced with a stadium-ready quality to it. When we were introduced to this track back in December, we marvelled at all this, but it was also the track’s lyrical content that had us hooked. Embracing a sense of disenchantment, Burn From Within is a fist in the air, power to the people anthem.
Contempt has never sounded so catchy.
We’ve got no doubt the band drew from the frustrations of the past few years, using them to fuel their fire. Ultimately, this has made Burn From Within feisty and majorly relatable for anyone hoping to throw a certain finger up to the authoritative forces set on draining the life out of us. Snowfish have achieved rock greatness on Burn From Within, a track that’s set the stage for their world takeover. Call it angsty, call it whatever you want; all we know is that contempt has never sounded so catchy.
STICK THIS NEXT TO: Muse, My Chemical Romance, Radiohead
